Dear Parents & Caregivers,
Year 12 Biology students are studying the topics ‘Search for Better Health’ and ‘Communications’. An elective excursion has been organised to provide enrichment and stimulate student interest and learning in these topics. Field notes/worksheets will be completed on the day.
This excursion is very beneficial for the students and the students are strongly encouraged to attend. As the excursion will occur within the holidays, it is not compulsory to attend.
|When:||July 20, 2018 (the last Friday of the holidays)|
|Time:||9.45 am to 2.30 pm|
|Price:||$20 per student (transport cost not included)|
|Where:||Museum of Human Disease, University of New South Wales|
|Essential Equipment:||Morning tea, lunch and drinks (including water). Pens, lead pencils, eraser, clipboard, calculator.|
|Attire:||Clothing suitable for conducting fieldwork. Closed in footwear. Singlet tops, sandals, thongs (or similar) are not permitted.|
|Transport:||Students are required to make their own way to the Museum and meet the teachers outside the Museum at 9.45 am. See the attached information for suggested buses.|
Please return the permission note and money as soon as possible. It is not possible to make refunds for non-attendance. If you have any questions regarding this excursion, please do not hesitate to make contact with the undersigned.
