Dear Parents & Caregivers,

In consultation with Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta, recently we have undertaken a review of the operation of our College Uniform Shop.  As a result, it has been decided to outsource the shop to a company called The School Locker (T.S.L.).  The School Locker is a division of Harvey Norman and has an increasing presence in schools across the Diocese of Parramatta.

The Uniform Shop will stock all our current items of clothing but will also extend the range to include stationery, musical equipment, sporting equipment, technology goods and other educational  items.

A comprehensive catalogue and online link will be published to the community. Pricing will remain comparable and quality will continue to be of the same high standard.  Rental options will be available for technology and music items.

The Uniform Shop will continue to trade from our existing onsite premises under the management of T.S.L. from the beginning of Term 3, commencing on Monday 23rd July.

The campus shop trading days will remain the same – Tuesdays and Thursdays. To ascertain optimum trading hours, however, there will be a trial period of revised opening times and these will be advertised through our usual communication channels.

Additionally, The School Locker offers extensive online options for orders, payment and delivery.  The School Locker website address is www.theschoollocker.com.au.  This link will also be available when logging into the Marian Catholic College website.

Second Hand Uniforms:

Should you wish to donate second hand uniform items to the school, these will be passed on to families in need.  Please bring any donated items to Reception in the Administration building.

The College does not sell second hand uniforms.  Should you wish to sell uniform items, please investigate www.sustainableschoolshop.com.au.

All students will be issued with a Student Advantage Card when visiting the uniform shop.  This card unlocks educational pricing and exclusive offers to our families for a variety of stock categories such as footwear, technology, music, sports and stationary.

We thank Mrs Jenine McGeorge for her many years of commitment to the College community, firstly in our Finance Team and, more recently, as our Uniform Shop Manager.  We wish her well in her future endeavours.

Regards,
Jayne Campbell
