Dear Parents & Caregivers,
Whilst the new church and second driveway are still under construction, we are pleased to let you know that we will have limited use and access to the second driveway entrance from the beginning of Term 4, Monday 14th October.
If you intend to use the second driveway you need to be made aware of the following access conditions.
- The second driveway still holds the parish building compound and will remain there for the duration of the project.
- As you turn left from Annangrove Rd into the second driveway there will be a sharp left hand turn that will take you through a small parish carpark. This entrance is two way and extreme caution needs to be taken when turning into it to avoid any oncoming traffic. This entrance enables traffic to avoid the building compound and provide a temporary alternative way to access the main car park. Please drive slowly and within the speed limit and be patient if there are cars already in this area.
- From there you will be able to drive to the main parish carpark where it’s expected that Year 12 and any parents can park. Always follow the directions of the arrows on the road to get there.
The second driveway has an automatic gate which will be open from 6am – 5pm. As there are still ongoing works, there may be times when this gate is closed. In that case you will need to use the main driveway.
If you wish to exit the school using the second driveway, again please follow the direction of the arrows and exercise the same caution & driving practice as you did when entering.
When exiting from the second driveway, you will only be able to turn left onto Annangrove Rd. There is no right hand turn permitted. This has always been the case from this exit. If you need to turn right onto Annangrove Rd, you can do so from the main driveway (however, not between the peak hours 2.30pm-4.00pm).
We thank you for your cooperation as we aim to create safe traffic and pedestrian access for everyone in our community and remember please be patient & respectful of drivers, pedestrians and school staff.
