Dear Parents and Caregivers of Year 11 VET Hospitality students in 2020

It is a requirement of the VET Hospitality course that students purchase a uniform to wear during practical lessons and when undertaking mandatory work placement. Please see the attached flyer for pricing and uniform requirements.

The uniform can be purchased from The Chef Spot in Dural and delivered to the college. We will have uniforms to try on in week 9 in the Hospitality room. Girls are to come on Tuesday at Lunchtime and Boys Wednesday at lunchtime.

Once the size has been determined in the try on, you will then purchase the uniform either online or in person at The Chef Spot Dural. They will arrange for delivery of the uniform to the college when school returns. If you do wish to purchase the uniform online, your child will be given a code to ensure delivery to Marian Catholic College.

You may obtain the uniform from an alternative supplier, but please ensure it is identical to the uniform pictured in the flyer attached and arrives in time for Week 2 2020.

In addition, please be reminded that students completing VET Hospitality must complete 70 hours of work placement to qualify for an HSC.

Please do not hesitate to contact the school with any questions or concerns regarding the above information.
