Dear Parents & Caregivers,
A field trip has been organised for Year 12 Agriculture students on Friday 10 May, 2019. They will visit Camden Park Environmental Education Centre, then to Country Valley Milk to see first-hand a commercial processing factory.
The purpose of this field trip is to meet the HSC Syllabus Product Study requirements, which is a compulsory requirement of this course.
Students must dress in practical attire with enclosed footwear. Each student must bring a clip board and writing materials as worksheets will need to be completed on the day. There are no shopping facilities so students are also required to bring their own morning tea, lunch and a water bottle.
The cost of the excursion per student is $22.00, which covers entry into the milk factory. Students are to meet at Marian Catholic College at 8:00am to depart for the excursion. Our expected return time to the College is 4.00pm. Students will need to make arrangements for their transport from Marian Catholic College to home.
Please fill out the permission form below by Wednesday 1 May, and make payment through the Trybooking link below. The cost of the excursion has been closely calculated to cover the entry fees and bus charges. Excursions must pay for themselves, and for this reason, refunds for non-attendance cannot be made.
PLEASE NOTE: We are currently trialling a new payment gateway through trybooking for our excursions. Please go to the link below to make payment via Credit Card. A service fee will be added to the booking but PLEASE NOTE we have factored this into the total cost of the excursion and have absorbed this cost. Also note that American Express payments incur a 1.1% charge in addition to the total cost of the excursion.
