Dear Parents& Caregivers of Year 7 students,
NSW Adolescent Vaccination Program 2020
In 2020, all Year 7 students will be offered the following vaccinations through free school-based vaccination clinics:
- A two-dose course of the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine
- A single dose of the Diphtheria, Tetanus and Pertussis (dTpa) vaccine
The vaccination clinics will be conducted at the College on the dates below.
Wednesday 26 February – 1st dose HPV & dTpa
Tuesday 16 June – 2nd dose HPV
Any students who miss the vaccination on the dates above are able to catch up on their vaccination on the dates below:
Tuesday 16 June – 1st dose HPV & dTpa
Wednesday 9 September – 2nd dose HPV or 1st dose HPV & dTpa
Students will receive their NSW School Vaccination Program envelope containing information regarding the program and a consent form during Homeroom this week. Please complete the consent form using black or blue pen only, and have your child return it to the Student Foyer by Friday 21 February.
Please remind your child to eat breakfast on the morning of the vaccinations, and to bring their own water bottle with them on each of the above dates. It is important for students receiving vaccinations to drink plenty of fluids before and after each vaccination. Students are to wear their full College sport uniform on the day.
Following the vaccinations, your child will be given a Record of Vaccination card to give to you. Please retain this for your records and inform your GP that these vaccination has been administered to your child.
