Dear Parents & Caregivers,
The Year 12 Engineering Studies class are experiencing the 4 bridges in Sydney. The bridges are of significant historical and engineering value and are each iconic in their own right. The bridges are designed to complement the syllabus outcomes for this topic. They are the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Anzac Bridge, Iron Cove Bridge and Gladesville Bridge.
|Date:||Friday 16 November 2018. 8.00am – 5.00pm|
|Transport:||Students will make their own way to Rouse Hill Town Centre Bus terminus by 8:00am and will be using public transport during the day and return to RHTC at the earliest, 5:00pm.|
|Uniform:||Marian Catholic College Sport Uniform jacket and comfortable walking shoes.|
$8.50 (entry for the Pylon on the Sydney Harbour Bridge) – to be paid through this form.
Students will need to bring their Opal cards for public transport. An Adult (black) OR Student Opal card will need to be used with at least $20-$30 on it, preferably with auto top up.
Students are permitted to bring additional money for lunch if purchasing lunch.
|What to Bring:||Hat, sunscreen, 1 litre water, snacks, sunglasses, lunch and additional water may be purchased at Birkenhead Point.|
